Rights regarding the processing of personal data

Right to information
You have the right to receive information from us at any time upon request about the personal data processed by us concerning you within the scope of Art. 15 GDPR. To do so, you can send a request by post or email to the addresses given above.

Right to rectification of inaccurate data
You have the right to obtain from us without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you (Art. 16 GDPR). To do so, please use the contact addresses given above.

Right to erasure
You have the right to the immediate erasure (“right to be forgotten”) of personal data concerning you if the legal grounds pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR apply. Planned data transfer to third countries

Among other things, we use tools from companies based outside the EU and US tools whose providers are not certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF). If these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to these countries and processed there. We would like to point out that a level of data protection comparable to that in the EU cannot be guaranteed in third countries where data protection law is not secure.

We would like to point out that the USA, as a safe third country, generally has a level of data protection comparable to that of the EU. Data transfer to the USA is therefore permitted if the recipient is certified under the “EU-US Data Privacy Framework” (DPF) or has suitable additional guarantees.

Security

2Leadership uses technical and organizational security measures to protect the data you provide against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. This also applies when external services are used. The effectiveness of our security measures is reviewed and the measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

Standard deadlines for the deletion of data

The legislator has issued various retention periods and obligations. After these periods have expired, the corresponding data is routinely deleted. If data is not affected by this, it will be deleted or anonymized if the purposes stated in this privacy policy no longer apply. Unless this privacy policy contains other, deviating provisions regarding the storage of data, the data collected by us will be stored by us for as long as it is required for the aforementioned purposes for which it was collected.

Other use of data

Further processing or use of your personal data will generally only take place if this is permitted by law or if you have consented to the data processing or use. In the event of further processing for purposes other than those for which the data was originally collected, we will inform you of these other purposes prior to further processing and provide you with further relevant information.

Applications

We store your application data for the duration of the review of your application. If your application is unsuccessful or if you withdraw your application, your application data will be deleted after a maximum of 6 months, unless you have expressly agreed to a longer storage period. If your application is successful, the data that you have provided to us via the application system will be processed further in relation to your future employment with our company. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 a, b and f GDPR and § 26 BDSG.

If you do not provide us with the required personal data, this will not have any negative consequences for you. However, incomplete or incorrectly completed applications will not be considered. Unfortunately, the application cannot be submitted without providing your personal data and will therefore be deleted.

Calling up our website

When personal data is entered, it is always transmitted in highly encrypted form.

We collect and store the IP address assigned to your computer in order to transmit the content you have accessed on our website to your computer (e.g. texts, images and files made available for download, etc.) (see Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR). We also process this data to detect and track misuse. In this respect, the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. We do not sell your data to third parties, nor do we market it in any other way.

In addition, your personal data will be forwarded to the law enforcement authorities and, if necessary, to injured third parties without your express consent if this is necessary to clarify any unlawful use of our services or for legal prosecution. However, this only happens if there are concrete indications of unlawful or abusive behavior. Disclosure may also take place if this serves to enforce terms of use or other agreements. We are also legally obliged to provide information to certain public authorities on request. Target group formation with customer matching

Among other things, we use the customer matching function of Google Ads Remarketing to create target groups. Here, we transfer certain customer data (e.g. email addresses) from our customer lists to Google. If the customers in question are Google users and are logged into their Google account, they are shown suitable advertising messages within the Google network (e.g. on YouTube, Gmail or in the search engine).

Google Conversion Tracking

Audio and video conferencing

We use online conferencing tools, among others, to communicate with our customers. The individual tools we use are listed below. If you communicate with us by video or audio conference via the internet, your personal data will be collected and processed by us and the provider of the respective conference tool.

The conference tools collect all data that you provide/enter to use the tools (e-mail address and/or your telephone number). The conference tools also process the duration of the conference, the start and end (time) of participation in the conference, the number of participants and other “context information” in connection with the communication process (metadata).

Furthermore, the provider of the tool processes all technical data required for the processing of online communication. This includes, in particular, IP addresses, MAC addresses, device IDs, device type, operating system type and version, client version, camera type, microphone or loudspeaker and the type of connection.

If content is exchanged, uploaded or provided in any other way within the tool, it is also stored on the tool provider’s servers. Such content includes, in particular, cloud recordings, chat/instant messages, voicemails, uploaded photos and videos, files, whiteboards and other information shared while using the service. Please note that we do not have full control over the data processing operations of the tools used. Our options are largely determined by the company policy of the respective provider. Further information on data processing by the conference tools can be found in the privacy policies of the tools used, which we have listed below this text.

Purpose and legal basis
The conference tools are used to communicate with prospective or existing contractual partners or to offer certain services to our customers (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. B GDPR). Furthermore, the use of the tools serves the general simplification and acceleration of communication with us or our company (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). If consent has been requested, the tools in question are used on the basis of this consent; consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

Storage duration
The data collected directly by us via the video and conference tools will be deleted from our systems as soon as you ask us to delete it or revoke your consent to its storage

or the purpose for data storage no longer applies. Stored cookies remain on your end device until you delete them. Mandatory statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
