Subsequently Kornit\u2019s Regions needed to become the business drivers, with HQ transitioning to the role of enabler.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Their goal:<\/strong> To stabilize the newly configured EMEA Leadership Team and transform their leadership capabilities to achieve their challenging business growth objectives.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Overview<\/h2>\n<div>\n<p>Each leader has their own style. When a new leader with a new style, comes onboard, the whole team can be left playing a guessing game when <strong>expectations aren\u2019t made clear<\/strong> on both sides from the outset.<\/p>\n<p>This is exactly the situation the EMEA leadership team found themselves in when they contacted us. The 64 billion-dollar question was, how can we work with them to <strong>create an autonomous strategic leadership team<\/strong> to meet the growth plans?<\/p>\n<p>The first challenge to <strong>address<\/strong> was the <strong>overall \u2018busyness\u2019<\/strong> of the team and getting them to <strong>focus on priorities and impact<\/strong> rather than the \u2018daily tornado\u2019. Using the approach of strategic navigation we created the space for each individual to understand and <strong>assume their role as leaders<\/strong> in planning first, and then moving to execution.<\/p>\n<p>To strengthen their ability to <strong>sustain this new approach<\/strong> we supported key individuals with Executive Coaching.<\/p>\n<p>By doing so the foundation has been laid for each individual to <strong>improve leading themselves<\/strong>, which directly impacts their <strong>ability to lead others.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>\n<blockquote><p>We need to ensure that we are perceived as the leaders we want to be.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>\u2014 Chris Govier, President Kornit Digital Europe GmbH<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/2leadership-case-study-moods-05.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<h2>Approach<\/h2>\n<h3>Creating a platform for the senior leader:<\/h3>\n<div>We see our role as co-creators. We provide the structure and the process but we will always ensure that the senior leader can assume their role in leading the way foward.<\/div>\n<h3>Self-leadership is the basis for all leadership:<\/h3>\n<div>When people realize that they alone are accountable for what happens in their day-to-day, they have the choice to step up and not fall in to the trap of playing the blame-game.<\/div>\n<h3>Getting expectations clear:<\/h3>\n<div>We\u2019re not robots. We don\u2019t all work in the same way. When a new team forms we provide a structured process for them to understand what\u2019s expected on all sides to remove frustration and disappoint&shy;ment from the playing field.<\/div>\n<h3>Transformation requires everyone to be engaged and committed:<\/h3>\n<div>And the leaders are responsible for making sure it doesn\u2019t get stuck at the top. So our work doesn\u2019t stop with aligning the senior team.<\/div>\n<div>\n<h2>Result<\/h2>\n<div>\n<p>The team has moved <strong>from<\/strong> being <strong>\u2018busy\u2019 to<\/strong> being <strong>focused<\/strong>. Their <strong>improved ability to plan<\/strong> means they are now <strong>delivering<\/strong> what is expected <strong>with<\/strong> considerably <strong>less resources<\/strong>. Through this structured approach they can <strong>monitor progress<\/strong> and <strong>course correct<\/strong> when necessary.<\/p>\n<p>Having <strong>grown together<\/strong> as a team, they have achieved a level of <strong>strategic autonomy<\/strong> for their respective areas. They have realized that they are <strong>responsible<\/strong> for and <strong>empowered to drive the changes<\/strong> in the organization.<\/p>\n<p>This has helped them to become a <strong>great team<\/strong>.
